Professor Lizabeth Roemer is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Among her main areas of expertise are anxiety and related disorders and treatment models that integrate acceptance and mindfulness into Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT).

Professor Roemer is the co-author of the books The Mindful Way Through Anxiety and Worry Less, Live More. She has also published many research articles in leading scientific journals, including Behavior Therapy and Behaviour Research and Therapy.
